There was a lot of this...
(unfortunately mostly steaming & selling crabs, not so much drinking beer and eating them)
As most of you know by now, Joseph owns a seafood market called Steamers on Rt. 26 in Millville, DE. So being the super awesome wife that I am, I spent most of my summer helping him. Which required me to spend countless hot summer days in a 90° plus building, elbow deep in seafood. But he was really nice and rewarded me for all of my hard work with a little bit of this...
Those are piratas from Villa Cofresi in Rincón, Puerto Rico. Coconuts filled with lots of rum, coconut milk and cinnamon, and in case the whole coconut wasn't enough, they give you a side car of extra drink. More to come on Puerto Rico later.
And then finally we finished up the year with some of this...
That is my gorgeous sister, Brooke, and her adorable husband, Bob. Brooke and Bob were married on December 22nd in Berlin and it was one of the coolest weddings I've ever seen. And like so many weddings, it took a ton of work. A TON. We're still recovering.
So here I am, one month in to 2013 and with a new resolution. Start blogging again!
I promise, this year will be better. (maybe, we'll see...)
